trying to join a friend to help with a quest i already completed but over and over it says failed to join quest? can you not join a quest you already completed?

Same here, Online Session is totally unusable for me.

yep it doesn't seem nearly as good as the other MH's... i can't even see my friend in the same session as me - could on every other monster hunter.

You can only see your friends in the gathering hub or within quests unless you mean there too.

Likely the quest your friend is doing has a cutscene in it he hasn't seen yet OR the servers are just messing up.

Yea not the case for my friend and I. It gave the cutscene message at first after the cut scene it just failed to join quest.

Same here. We both joined the quest, saw the cutscenes, but then can't join each other. It lets us all the way through the menus to join until a "failed to join the quest" appears

We try now for 4 hourse to play together. No F-ing way, i don't know if the servers are down or if thiere is another problem. There are so many reasons why cou cant play together that i don't get why they relesed in this state

consoles had the same issue for a bit. They had to work it out. New game new issues same old story

same here, i just connect with my friend, play about 5-10min and auto disconnect, 3-5 time .
i though my internet have problem.

What you wanna do is, Create your own private game, make them join through ID usage, then complete the first part of your quests until you've watched the cutscene and then use flare.

Someone here doesn't understand what the complaint is... Everyone knows this. But all friends watch the cutscene, then try to join one of them.. It doesn't work. It only works if everyone leaves and remake the quest entirely. But joining a friend in game while he's fighting the monster give this Error!

I have the bloody impression that the ALL online system is super complicated et with a lot a bugs. Which is not a very good start for a game relying so much on multiplayer :/

you all need to make your own online session (forces everyone to be in online mode) then join into your friends session, as the game get's stuck in offline mode so you get this error constantly
