Locking target

is it me...or this game lock target is weird? everytime i lock the target by pressing F once, u look away,it auto cancel.is it normal? > <

yeah its really annoying.
idk if its possible to switch it to a key bind so instead of me switching targets and weak spots everytime i move my mouse i just press ALT or something and it stays that way.

oh i though i was the only one who is having this issue...its quite impossible to play range weapon =.= since u cant keep moving and having the target locked... :/

What settings I must change to lock the enemy manually without jumping from target to target while looking around?

You should try playing without locking on. I’m a new player, so I might not know something but I feel like locking on in this game isn’t as useful (if useful at all) as it is in the souls games for example. It’s perfectly fine to play without it with a controller and shouldn’t be any harder with a mouse and keyboard.

The new auto locking really suck. You can easily set it back the old fashion 3DS locking system.

i am sure i are not range user then...without lock target, everytime u press F the target just keep changing non stop, u look away u got another target, u cant hit them unless u are using V

use ur eyes and change the setting wtf

Change the Camera Style to Target Camera, and then change Target Settings to Large Monsters only. It will be a huge improvement.
