ERR10: Unsupported Dxgi Request
I get this whenever I launch the game. I loaded up just fine on the correct monitor after installing it, but when I switch to 2560x1080, it decided it wanted to hop to my left monitor (a vertical display), when I tried to change it back to 1920x1080, it now bounces to my top monitor and crashes with the error ERR10: Unsupported DXGI Request.

Is there any way I can keep the game from bouncing inconsistently between monitors and actually load without this error?

Thanks! :)

Only way I was able to "fix" my error message was to uninstall the game and wipe the install folder, reinstall again and not change my resolution.

A proper fix would be wonderful. Playing with a strangely stretched resolution is jarring.

I was able to fix this really easy.

1. go to where the game is installed, you can get there from steam with right click on the game, properties, local files, browse local files. for me is was here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World"
2. delete "config.ini" and "graphics_option.ini". This we reset you games settings but not effect your saved game.

Annnnnd your good to go.

This doesn't fix the issue. It just gets me passed the error message until it eventually errors out again.

Also, still can't full screen without it bouncing around to different monitors.

Had something similar, updated graphics drivers, directX manually and checked for windows updates. After that it never happened again.

Awesome, I will give that a try and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the verification.

Might it be that you have a capture card installed? Because I've been having this issue ever since I've plugged my elgato HD60 pro into the HDMI ports that it needs

on nvidia you can force a resolution via geforce experience if you got stuck on something weird

how strange I have a 2k 140mhz for gaming and 1080 for discord steam etc. I have never had this problem.

Thank you so much! It not only solved this error, but also all the lagging I had since the DLC came out. Turns out my graphic card driver was in desperate need for an update, lol. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

1. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World
2. open 'graphics_option' with notepad or something
3. find 'DirectX12Enable=ON'
4. change 'Off'', save and exit, and turn on the game again
