Invite a friend is greyed out

Trying to invite a friend to kill the puki guy, but it wont let me invite them. Not sure what to do.

Invite is grayed out for me as well. It's really annoying.

I noticed everything greyed out when on a mission. not limited to even the basic game settings. Are you in a mission?

That's not how you get people to join your missions. You have to be in the same online lobby, and then when you post the quest, he joins through the quest board.

The Invite a Friend just invites him to the same online sessions as you.

The "invite to session" option is also grayed out if you have the session set to "private" I noticed.

I made the session public, invited friend, then changed back to private. Could be a better way to do it, but this worked for us.
