PC Event Quest schedule

so im a new player to monster hunter series ... whats with the quests ?? is it limited time gear etc ?

The quests rotate each week with some having a particular quirk to them. From giant or small monsters, to extra chance of obtaining particular carves or tracks, and some that drop items to craft armor and weapons.

Basically you want to do each event at least once, and look up the rewards for each to see how many times you need to run them.
