any cheat protection?

will the game have any cheat protection?
i know cheat engine is really popular with the kids these days and i dont want to coop with rando's that fly around the map, one shotting everything.

thats probably the one thing holding me back from buying it on PC (already own it on ps4 too)

I mean, "cheating' actually began with Consoles and things like GameShark. Or did you just forget about things like GameShark and all the various button combos to trigger game cheats on Console?

dont play with randoms. when you have this panic to meet a cheater. i havent seen a cheater yet. Or I think so. But in the end i dont know. But the few times when i play with randoms together, for me the chances are not so high. i dont know how it easy it is to cheat in this Game. I dont know how easy you get free Trainer or a Cheat Engine to work. And I dont know if Capcom will watch out for Trainer users. How others have written, i dont think that cheaters will use the Random player fanction because the dont need random players for help and the chance to get replied by them is to high. Then this Game is totaly boring with cheats, if you use any cheat(god mode, unlimited money or Resources, others wont be easy to see for others) the whole grinding expirince would be totally pointless... so i think if someone uses cheats, he will only play a short time in this game, so in the end all cheaters need a new game because they have all and can kill all.. And for my radnom times, i have never seen one, so its okay for me

As far as cheat engine goes, its a simple download for the program, and all the functions for the cheats get downloaded in a single file that runs as scripts.

Double click to open Cheat Engine, one click to target the MHW process, another click to open the cheat table that contains all the scripts.

Then its just a matter of clicking on the scripts you want to enable.

Honestly, props to the handful of guys that are probably spending more time decrypting game code then most people are spending on actually playing the game, with or without hacks.

i think we've reached a day and age where we need some form of cheat protection in every game that has coop on publisher or dev hosted servers. we have to deal with a generation that is addicted to attention and instant gratification now, so i think this issue is only going to get worse to the point where playstation and xbox become the new masterrace lol.

its sad but i remember a point in time (borderlands) where you didnt even have to worry about cheaters in coop games. now years later and you are lucky to find a game without them. creators of trainers and cheats are just allowed to openly promote their stuff on youtube. (took me 1 minute to find crazydev's trainer on there.) and everything is made extremely easy for the people who want to cheat.. sigh

i'm seriously thinking of just becoming a console pleb lol. i mean sure there are cheaters on there too, but at least its a 100 times more difficult to access them.

i find it strange that major companies limit our freedom of speech by slapping a language filter in every single online game, but dont take the time to add a much more needed cheat protection that ruin the whole balance and intentions of the game designers.

Company hosted servers are rarity these days, most went for p2p because its cheaper and thus more profitable.
