any cheat protection?

will the game have any cheat protection?
i know cheat engine is really popular with the kids these days and i dont want to coop with rando's that fly around the map, one shotting everything.

thats probably the one thing holding me back from buying it on PC (already own it on ps4 too)

I figure it would be similar to all the other titles. Most cheaters will likely just hack in extra materials so they can make gear more easily. Some will be dumb and give themselves gear they shouldn't have access to. But I figure most just want to skip the "grind" for materials.

Personally, I enjoy fighting the monsters, so I don't really feel like I'm grinding. I'm just having a blast beating giant monsters upside the head, and from time to time I have enough stuff to make new toys. :p

yeah was afraid of that, thats why i didnt buy it in the end,ill just stick with ps4
i like the pro's of better graphics and framerate, but the con's of having every random being a potential cheater turns me off. after all i love playing with random people, but i dont want to closely monitor every single one of them with my finger on the kick button before they one shot a boss.

Supprising how many people are asking about cheat protection like it is a damn MMO. Just kick them from the group when you susspect them. Not like they can rob your gear... i would rather capcom spend time making the PC port more stable and graphics patch than waste time on implementing some sort of anti cheat for a mute issue.

Honestly, the odds of you running into a cheater like that is ridiculously small. The whole "cheaters everywhere" thing is blown way out of proportion and is just fearmongering at this point.
I've played since day one, and have yet to see anyone sneak in to my games and start cheating.

Not to mention that there's cheats and hacks for the PS4 version anyway. So you're just as likely to run into cheaters there. Just like with every release of the game (the 3DS ones were easily hacked as well).

Most people will go through hundreds of hours and never once meet a cheater.
Yes, the leaderboards (which are a stupid thing to have in the first place) will always be hacked. Regardless of the game. That's just what some people do. It's not like that affects your gameplay in any way though.

200 Hours played so far with probably half of that playing in sessions with people and doing SOS's. Not a single cheater has been encountered. The vast majority of people who are going to cheat will be doing so offline or with their friends and not with randoms because youll be kicked/blocked etc. This is not a competitive game and cheating only really helps other players so what would be the point? Your paying 60$ to ruin your own experience.

I still always find it funny though, when people say "I'll stick to console where people can't cheat" even though there were hacks and save editors for the PS4 version BEFORE THE GAME LAUNCHED! lol

To people... The cheater cant one shot kill the monster on your session because the trainer or any cheat app only works on the users computer... The only cheat he can use outside of his session is the ones running in his/her computer which is unlimited life/stamina/bullets/supers and charges

These ppl arent common at all, you just hear about them because everyone on forums parades the few around like witches.
