The point is triple-a basically means the production value and the big budget put into the game. It doesn't change that fact. The previous monster hunters were a double-a or a triple-a depending on the budget etc. That's just how it is.
But i get what you mean.
I'm not sure which Monster Hunter games really had a "AAA Budget" though. They definitely pumped more money in for each new system port, but then from there they usually just copy-pasted a few different versions on each platform (except Wii-U).
Not saying that in a negative way either, it's just how it is. If you've played more than one Monster Hunter game, you've seen the same monsters countless times, sometimes even copy-pasted in the same game as different encounters.
nono i know, it is mostly copy paste monsters. I'm atleast glad they would add new contents. Even tho monster hunter tri to monster hunter four removed underwater cause everyone apperantly hated it < including me xD Oh gawd how horrible it was to hunt monsters underwater. Fun idea but not fun in works.
No such thing as a simple port.
a sale of about 10% maybe
dont count your chickens before theyre hatched
I've worked in the games industry as a tester for around 6 years now and I've learned a lot so you don't need to insult me by saying "you need to go learn stuff", Even a triple-A game could in reality be sold for around £29.99-£39.99 and still make a profit, The only reason why they charge so much is because people will pay it.
Yeah, underwater fights is something I would've expected to go better in Monster Hunter Worlds if they were to try it again.
Oooooh I must have touched a nerve, More insults.
Game testing is not my main job but I have been doing it for 6 years and you learn a lot about the industry.
Monster Hunter World hasn't been on PC for 8 months. It's a new port and you usually end up fronting the extra cost of work put into a port by paying the MSRP or inflated value while it's considered a new release.
