Monster Hunter World PC Release Preload COUNTDOWN: Steam Release date, time and PC specs
Monster Hunter World PC Release Preload COUNTDOWN - Update 1:
Popular streamer @Socksybear has confirmed that there'll be no preload for Monster Hunter World.

On a stream - which you can watch here - Socksy called over the PR at Capcom to confirm there'll be no preload for Monster Hunter World on PC.

That means that the timings you can see in the paragraph below will be the soonest you can start downloading.

ORIGINAL STORY - Monster Hunter World is finally coming to PC this week, and ahead of the launch, eager hunters are keen to know when they can sharpen their blades and take to the new world.

Earlier this week, Steam provided a handy update for hunters keen to get going as soon as possible. The PC platform released specific timings players could see World release.

It looks like it's going to be a global release hour for the game, meaning players all around the world will get access at once.

Unfortunately, that means players in Japan, New Zealand and Australia will have to wait until 10th August, whilst other regions get to access the title on 9th August.

What time does Monster Hunter World launch on PC?
The release times are as follows (via u/Kanhir on Reddit):

9th August
PDT (San Francisco): 8:00am
MDT (Denver): 9:00am
CDT (Mexico City): 10:00am
EDT (New York): 11:00am
BRT (Brasilia): 12:00pm
BST (London): 4:00pm / 16:00
CEST (Berlin): 5:00pm / 17:00
CST (Beijing): 11:00pm / 23:00

10th August
JST (Tokyo): 00:00 / midnight
AEST (Canberra): 1:00am
NZT (Auckland): 3:00am

When can I play Monster Hunter World on PC?
Just because this is when the game launches, that doesn't mean that's when you're going to be able to play.

Steam generally allows pre-loads about 24 hours before the game goes live, but that's not always the case: it could be that you'll be able to download the game when your region hits the times listed above, meaning you'll still have to wait for the 20GB download time to complete.

See the top of this page for more information: it appears that you will not be able to download the game ahead of time. We hope you can get that 20GB file downloaded quickly!

If they dont offer per load, then steam should re t additional server just to compensate for the massive traffic they will get on release. I guess Capcom want to have an incident that the game is so popular on steam that it overloads steam server and halts it to a crawl.

This will be interesting.
