SLI is dead dude
SLI isnt dead, people have been saying that for many many years, it just takes a long time for them to roll out sli drivers sometimes if at all, I dont think it gets any more or less support now then 5years ago, some games still use it like fallout 4, Skyrim SE will probably get support at some point, BF and COD will probably have it, overwatch, the games that do support it are usually demanding or just really nice to be able to use SLI. Its enthusiast and kinda in same place VR is, expensive, not great value but cool and nice to have.

they did however add it for COD:BO4 and WOW if you were wondering

I have GTX 1080 in SLI and 1440p 144hz. It would be great if they add SLI in the future.

being a sli user in the past i hope so too
Just because there isnt a SLI profile doesnt necessarily mean the game doesnt utilize more than 1 GPU

if it does support it, the next driver update may add an official profile

You can also try to use AFR if the game doesnt support SLI by default
I'm running MHW at max settings 1440p and i'm getting sub 60fps. I have an 8700k and 2 1080s.... God i hope they add sli or someone figures out a profile for it that works.
Yes need SLI !!!
If anything first they will work on patch that give more options to settings, then maybe they will work on giving us high res texture patch and at the same time give us in faster rate all events/updates/content that consoles had.

I can asure you - they don't give a f about "SLI", which is very low priority for them.

Even ultrawide support have higher chance of being added than working on SLI support for small % of PC players.

Sli is dead man.
SLI is not supported at the moment. The FAQ mentions this.
You could try offloading the primary GPU by moving all physics and other processing to the secondary GPU in the driver settings.
Does Resident Evil 4 5 or 6 have a profile? This game uses the same engine and could possibly work with one of those. Worth a try

I'm going to third this. When I built my PC the 1080ti wasn't out yet, so the only real hope I had to get to 1440p@144hz was an SLI solution. Though at this point I'm somewhat used to console ports not supporting SLI, but I understand why. It's not like when they coded it for PS4 they assumed users might have 2 graphics cards. Maybe one day they'll release one.
