MHW mods through Vortex.

I have my MHW saved on my C drive and can launch the game with all my vortex mods disabled (just visuals for glare and stuff like that) but one i enable mods I can't get it to load up. Is there a specific place I should have the staging folder to get it to work? Any help is appreciated.

don't use vortex, just install the mods manually
vortex has always been pretty jank for modding mhw

some mooders don't even bother to answer if you tell them that you instealled with vortex and then "doesn't wiork" lol

yes, everything just goes inside nativepc

I use Vortex with all my mods and never had a problem, make sure Vortex does the "Develop" thing and that you're not using an outdated Stracker's NativePC loader

Never had any problem with Vortex with MHW or any other game, it's simplier to use and i'm too lazy anymore to be bothered modding manually lol.

I updated stracker's loader but it still wont work, maybe i have the staging folder wrong? if not i'll just manual download to native pc like amathy suggested.

Do you have pre-iceborne mods installed? Because those ALL got nuked into oblivion after Iceborne hit. They are incompatible now. Best go over your modlist and make sure.

Make yourself familiar with the folder-structure as well. Dig into the mod-packages and see where into nativePC they will be placed, then check to see if Vortex actually places them there, and if they aren't simply install them manually.
