About Decoration Slots On Mantles

They are only active when I use mantle, right? Or they are like regular decoration slots?

only when you use mantle, quick tips: use glider mantle because it has 2 slots level 4 jewels and 180 uptime with only 120 recharge time. basically you can use it almost everytime

The pair of Glider Mantle + Fireproof / Waterproof / Iceproof / Thunderprof / Bandit mantle will have 30 seconds of downtime every 3 minutes.

If you slot in a level of Tool Specialist into the Glider Mantle ( XXX / Maintenance Jewel) you can get that to 9 seconds.

depending on the monster you might actualy consider immunity mantle (with a phoenix and maintence jewles)

for example immunity +fireproof completly trivialize brakydios and will likely do the same for raging brakydios too

If you don't sprint/roll off a small ledge, you don't get airborne. You can also use it to perform clutch claw mounts to mount a monster anywhere on any map.

you can cancel the floating animation by pressing dodge

Space is to cancel the glide.
Use directional keys to guide yourself to the monster.

Little fun fact about the glider mantle too, you can abuse it with the clutch claw to get a mount.

1 - Equip glider mantle
2 - Clutch the monster
3 - Immediately jump off
4 - Glider mantle forces you to glide
5 - ??? (Depends on weapon type, just use an attack.)
6 - Profit

Pair that with shara set and you'll have THE most defensive set in the whole game with 100% mantle uptime.
