Anyone else barely getting any VIP Joyful Tickets?

I've been helping people on low and high rank, plus doing the event quests, I must've done close to 30 quests in the past 2 days, but I've only recieved 2 of them so far?

Is this a bug or my RNG is really bad this time around?

Craft and use the Oolong set. It helps a bunch.

No....but remember when there was the event for the astral armor? I didn't even equip the set for that one and I got so many - don't really get why this event was different.

Literally all rng, make the set or expect to get very few.

I'm not getting any Joyful Tickets because I don't have a decent PC to play Monster Hunter World on. *sadface* However...I am playing on the PS4 on my niece's game. She allowed me one character slot for my won character build, lol. I guess if you have the PS4 version we can dance eh?

All luck. Last event I got almost none even with the full armor set, and barely got the layered armor at all. This event, I had my layered armor on day 1.

That's funny because I barely got any tickets during that event even while wearing the Astral set.

Wear the Oolong armour and use Lucky Vouchers, I guess. Wearing the Oolong gear in the Guiding Lands tends to generate quite a lot of them since you're constantly reporting in, which can give you VIP tickets, etc.

Otherwise just try joining HR quests, or spamming really fast quests like Flora Frostbite until you get what you desire. It's all RNG, can't really force it.

I was helping in HR SoS with full Oolong set and it was barely giving me anything (contrary to the last event, I think they lowered the odds). So here's my new approach:

I'm farming the Duffel Duty event quest (catch the penguins) with the full Oolong armor set. Spawn in camp 12, go down toward the ship, place yourself on the stairs of the ship, and try to capture the 8 that are there. It's possible you won't get them in time, so you can just fly to camp 7, go down again and capture the penguins that are there. Should take you about 30s-1m, go back to camp to skip loading times and do the quest again. Must be getting 1 ticket for every 2-3 runs.

You'll also get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of low-level lvl 4 decos if you're missing some of these.

for me it's opposite. used event set and get plenty of VIP ticket but never get normal joyful ticket except bonuse login and daily bounty.

You could also just go to the workshop and pay around 5000 pts and some coin for the layered set
