Guiding lands crystals

So basically I need to keep running around in circles on wasteland to keep mining crops and then spawing a giant node to get... 1 guiding land crystal. And then it just resets to yellow node?
I mean, this is not even a challeging mechanic. Force players to act like a mental handicapped dog trying to bite its own tail is BS.

Bring your palico, and call for a tailraider. Go close to the crystal, mine it, and hopefully either one or the both of them will gather from it as well. You'll end up with anywhere from 1-3 crystals from the node.

You can also get the rare crystal of any locale from normal mines, too; it just isn't guaranteed.

the node needs to be red to get the rare large crystal from them
yeah it becoming real annoying and all the higher augments need more and more rare bones and ores
