Roadmap "Fan-Favorite". Who is it?

So a while back Capcom released a roadmap for MHW;IB content and in May we are getting a "Return of a Fan-Favorite Monster". See the image below.

Who does the community think it will most likely be? Lets also try and define fan-favorite real fast. These are not monsters any particular individual likes or is your favorite monster its a monster that's generally loved by a majority of the community. Jho, Rajang, Tigrex, Nargacuga, etc come to mind. With this in mind imo they are kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of fan-favorites. The only monster that's really left that has a large fallowing is Fatalis most others are already in the game.

What do you think?

Could monsters like Gore Magala, Akantor, or Uklanos be considered fan favorites? Who do you want in regardless of if its a fan-favorite or not? Personally I'd like Gogmazios or Dalamadur.


Or maybe they will just throw us a curve ball and add Bulldrome or Plesioth.

My guess is chameleos. He is a fan favorite, and the Iceborne lorebook confirmed namielle is a close relative of chameleos. Plus we have only 2 poison monsters

A small part of me thinks Gore Magala might make a return. He'd fit in well with the GL. Also a few npcs name drop him, just as they did with Raging Brachy and Rajang. The Excitable A-Lister wouldn't be too happy about that though lol *ptsd intensifies*

I love Chameleos but calling him a fan-favorite is a bit of a stretch, Fatalis, Gore Magala, and Akantor are far more loved than him.

Probably Amatsumagachablaga.
Dunno but i know we need bigger monsters to fight and i'm kinda sick of them just putting in so many returning monsters and retextures in and the usual suspects of the old monsters.

Fatalis is disliked by a majority of mh fans because hes super boring and always overhyped in game.
Gore i can see, tho a lot of folks argue that magals only show up around Heavens Mount.
Akantor is only popular because a popular youtuber likes it. Its honestly a really boring fight that brute tiggy does better.
Chameleos tho is p popular because irs such a unique fight and monster, and a lot of folks were upset he wasnt in World but kush and teo were

Thats why I made a point to say "These are not monsters any particular individual likes or is your favorite monster", As much as I like Chameleos and other monsters things like Fatalis are wide spread in how popular they are in the series.

See you are making ♥♥♥♥ up and lying to suit your own naritive... Fatalis is by far the most popular monster in the franchise and this isn't even an opinion its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy how much people like this monster. I'm not sure where you are getting you information from but it seems to be based on nothing. Your basing your opinions on the "fights" frankly I can think of 100 and 1 unique fights that are not fan-favorites.

That's why it would be probably an elder or something, since they shoot themselves in the foot with the power creep in the game, they can't really just add a weak monster than you would fight halfway throught the story and have mediocre gear, no one would be interested in that when you have end-game stuff.
