New Master Rank Diablos/Black Diablos Charge (Plants hands and then charges)
Vaal Hazak Effluvial Cloud
Deviljho Pin and Devour Attacks
Kirin Straight Heavy Lightning Bolt
Xeno'jiva Continuous Horizontal Laser beam (Fire Balls, and Vertical Beams do not require Guard Up to block)
Kulve Taroth Fire Breath
Behemoth Belly-flop and Ground Fireburst
Velkhana's Ice Breath
Shara Ishvalda's Unarmored form Wind Attacks
This is the list that tell you which ones you can't block without guard up.
I don't believe that there are somthing that you can block with lance that others weapon like CB can't block. Simply with lance you can block better that others (and have the skill that block on 360°), that means you lost less stamina and get less pierce damage. If I am wrong on this part please correct me.
Edit:
Savage Jho's pin is unblockable btw.
They can be :) (with Guard Up)
I remember my first Savage Devil Jho fight sucking balls because of constantly getting pinned.
this is what i do with my CB sets
The beams you see are most likely air as unlike sound it is something that can be properly directed, it can also explain the fact it's chest is so full of holes, much like Valstrax they probably serve as intakes.
To maneuver underground it likely uses a combination of vibrating its wingtips to break up the ground like a jackhammer (which, given our own are pneumatic, is also probably powered by air) and injecting air into the resulting sand, making it act more like a liquid
