Acid Shredder bois. Halp.
So I am playing around with the Acid Shredder. Masters Touch.

I don't have a handicraft jewel +4 yet, so I have to slot in TWO handicrafts to get purple sharpness and one to get more white.

So should I grab another Handicraft, or could I just slot in Elementless? I know Elementless is a bit of a meme in Iceborne, but SURELY it has SOME uses on weapons with high numbers yeah?

So basically my current choice is between..
Purple Sharpness?
Or White Sharpness + Elementless?

Don't make a build for me. I am running some QoL stuff on the side that suits me personally and these are the two I am currently stuck on. Once I get Handicraft +4 Charm, it won't be an issue anymore.

I love that weapon. I usually run it with handi5 + protective polish.
then for singleplayer, elementless
for multiplayer, free element3

But out of those 2 options..? purple adds 0.05% damage over white (?) non-elemental boost is 5% raw.. which .. actually is a lot better

It's entirely up to you, the difference is a literal .30% Purple sharpness is only a 5.30% increase in damage vs elementless' 5% to raw damage. But if you wanna hit max damage go for both but it's a game, have fun how you want to have fun.

Yeah I considered protective polish, but I wanted to try out Masters Touch to see how I fare with it.

I also heard Purple Sharpness is a 5% DMG increase from white, from 1.32 to 1.37(purple) and Elementless is a 5% damage increase itself. Leaning towards the latter honestly.

Hm. So it's a matter of having 20 units of White behaving as if it's Purple with Elementless, or having 10 units of Purple and 20 units of White.

Think I'll go with Elementless then. There'll be a steeper drop in damage once I hit blue, but 20 psuedo-purple is better than 10 Purple in my mind.

Yeah dude, I am having fun!
