I havent unlock rocksteady mantel yet

I am well into iceborne but never unlocked rocksteady mantle, I am working towards thats now, but the armory wont give me the quest, I have killed 3 threat lvl three dragons. Do I need to kill more to unlock the quest?

The prerequisite is 3 separate tempered elders, so you can't hunt 3 Vaal Hazaks for example and expect to get the quest.

They may have to be High Rank Tempered Elders

"The Thronetaker" event quest is on right now, you fight 3 HR tempered elders one at a time. Should be enough. You get the Rocksteady Mantle quest from the armor lady afterwards.

So I just completed that quest and still nothing...

The quest to unlock Rocksteady is "A Summons from Below" You need to fight 3 different tempered Elders (might be 5) to unlock it. (Would be safe and try hunting all tempered Elders once)

just google it bro most of the people on here unlocked it months ago and probably forgot how they did it anyway.

3 separate tempered elders (in separate quests), get quest from armory or maybe resource center, fight vaal + odo tempered, talk to armory again

If that doesnt work try leveling up your research on monsters to max, alot of the mantles are tied to that.

Make sure you go to the Astera workshop to get the quest, not Seliana.
