Effect Duration 90
Recharge Time 360
I was hoping for a more permanent solution. Once it wears off, I'm vulnerable again.
there is no armor in the game to supplement skill.
i have saved you hours of searching and waiting. practice.
Having Brace 3, Tremor Res 3, Earplugs 5, and Windproof 5 can nullify a lot of interrupts, but attacks that launch you will still send you flying.
Some weapons have ways to avoid getting hit, such as any shield with Guard Up, Great Sword's Shoulder Charge, Longsword's Foresight Slash, Charge Blade's Guardpoints, etc. But these require timing the move to counter the monster's attack.
aka git gud
funny how many questions come down to these two words
Besides the Rocksteady Mantle, Felyne Feet is the only thing that prevents knockbacks. Huge knockbacks is mantle only, but you'll get up faster if you have the food active
As it's a random activation rate, it's not really a reliable method =.=
I for one loved earplugs 5 (also known as HGE, or high grade earplugs) in tri..free hits, free heals etc is nice. But is it necessary? ...not here. They make some things slightly easier...but more damage means its dead faster, you're gimping yourself of 4 skills which could save your bacon, do enough to kill it or topple it for a free heal.
Rocksteady mantle stays on long enough, roars are easily avoided/even then they just usually mean you can't attack during the roar...waaa.... and If you go for a defensive weapon/something without health augment..rocksteady loses a bit of potential oomph. Keep in mind high numbers only mean something IF you hit. And rocksteady covers a lot :)
There's also temporal mantle, which covers a good chunk itself. Not roars, but, regular attacks.
Health augment is the only thing reaaaaally to consider, but even then.. I wouldn't. Remember, drugs, hunting horn, and ..well..not much else is needed and that's really only on punishing (AT) fights. Roar resistance is a luxury, not a necessity.
And stuns, aside from a few things, only happen when you get hit a lot in a small interval.
Whatever build you're running, instead of 4 full on skills. Try 3 divine blessing (negates 50 percent of damage off the top..when it procs) and fortify. Just those 2, 4 1 slot gems. And see if that makes a difference which you seem to want o.0
