Well there is no better time to learn, google is your friend. Could also upload to imgur or some other image host site and link. People can't really help you if they have no clue what you are talking about and as the old saying goes "A picture is worth a thousand words"

Which suggests it may be a sound card feature.
If it's exactly the one being described in the link try pressing:
LCTRL + LSHIFT + S
I updated my MSI trash apps recently to the dragon centre for rgb control and it installed a program called “nahimic” which apparently gives a visual representation of sound and its source in game. That appears as a blue circle on the right side and has a black letter N throughout it which could be confused or seen as segments? Uninstalled and it obviously doesn’t appear anymore. Hope this helps
Mostly because I came into this assuming it was a monitor thing since I remember seeing similar things advertised on, I think, ASUS ROG products (by the looks of this it was actually their motherboards, not their monitors).
i figured it out myself too. if its a MSI computer then its not the asus on, i forgot the name of it but it starts with a N
The app that controls the audio tracker is called "Nahimic"
