Layered Armor

I am really confused about how to unlock more layered Armor, lets just use Brigade layered Armor for example, i looked online and it says you need hunter king coins to unlock it and i have 11 of them on me now but am not seeing the Brigade Armor in my "Armor or Layered Armor" section under forge equipment. I can only see the Gala Suit. What am i missing here or how do i find it?

I think you have to have finished the Lunasta questline to unlock the ability to craft it.

You'll also need High Commendation x 5 to forge the Brigade Layered Armor.

I watched the video and some of the Layered Armors on there such as the butterfly, beetle and death stench are just appearing as Actual Armor weaker then the one i already have on and doesn't just change the skin of the Armor i am wearing

Layered armor are often tied to specific event quests or materials to unlock.

Easiest way to find out what quest unlocks what is through google

They are in a tab in smithy called Layered Armors, not the normal armor section, and you equip them in your item box tab called Layered Armor

All the arch-tempered elder dragon event quests drop Monster Tickets, that unlocks their Gamma sets and a layered armor (well, except two that should unlock Street Fighter armor but we don't have that on PC for some reason)

Kirin : Blossom armor
Vaal Hazak : Death Stench armor
Zora Magdaros : Origin armor
Kushala Daora : Guild Cross armor
Xeno'Jiva : Comission armor
Teostra : Dante armor
Lunastra : Sakura armor (not on PC)
Nergigante : Ryu armor (not on PC)

EDIT : welp, I thought you meant the Ace Hunter coins for the Guild Cross armor... Yeah, for the brigade armor you need to finish the Lunatra questline (HR50 I believe, it's in Astora and special assignements)
