Can we play custom music in our personal room ?
Adding a music player is nice , but the choice of music is limited , any way to use ours own music ?

There is not.

Officially? No. You could probably mod in custom music for the player, but only you would be the one to hear it.

I have a few guesses as to why Capcom didn't implement official support for custom music.

Legal reasons is probably the #0, #1, and #2 reason

what you do is mute the in-game music, and then when you go into your room, alt-tab and start your local computer mp3 player and then alt-tab back into MHW.

boom, prob solved.

But the steam overlay has it's own built in music player.

Number 3. My first two are "Letting someone put custom audio into the game that anyone who visits the room can hear would probably result in A LOT of horrible and nasty **** being heard" and "They would have a very hard time making money off selling additional tracks as DLC".
