Is there a way to turn day to night?
I'm getting real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tired of this piece of ♥♥♥♥ Nekker bounty crap. I can't seem to get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ night cycle. Most of the time ♥♥♥♥ happens when I'm on mission and by the time I teleport in it's already turning to day and it takes that freaking jagar forever to spit out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ carcass

in mhw classic i went from the AF to the highlands and back time of day was change

I've been grinding the phantom bird by going from Forest to Desert. Took a while. I'd say about 8 or so back and forths.

Takes 4 from iceborne to Forest for night to turn to dawn.

So it sort of speeds it up, but not enough to the point of being useful when you add in the ♥♥♥♥ pose you have to sit through then the results screen then the load to turn next area.

**Why** Research Help: Phantom Bird final quest for canteen item/trophy

**Where:** By using the HR 3 "Gettin' Yolked in the Waste" delivery quest you can get 2 herds of Apceros to spawn and stand still near Camp 1 in Wildspire Waste

**When:** I was able to capture mine during night/dark/rain? most people said day/sunny but i guess its whatever

**How:** equip ghillie mantle to load out, start the quest and go Southwest Camp (1) then run along the southern edge to the eggs. Put the ghillie mantle on nearby the apceros and turn the camera away from them. Hang out for awhile until you hear chirping and that should be it. Even if you miss your capture net they bug out and run into the wall for an easy capture so the ghillie suit might not be necessary im not sure. i was about the distance in the picture when i turned around to see them.

hope this helps :) much better them the one i typed https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunterWorld/comments/9caa2y/catching_downy_crakesphantom_birds_easily/ for the photo

There's not a way to turn day into night but MHW follows a 50 minute day/night cycle (convenient how the default hunt limit is a full day in game aint it :P) Anyway, you get 4 minutes of Dawn, 25 minutes of day, 4 minutes of dusk, followed by 17 minutes of night. Now I'm not sure how time of day is decided when a hall is created etc. but that's how the day/night cycle works.

There is a mod out just today that lets you change time of day, among other things.
If you have a stance against modding and it outweighs your frustration, then no other way to change time of day manually.

♥♥♥♥ that. I got no problems with mods that help circumvent this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ system

They really should have let the player sleep in their bed to alternate from day to night. Really mostly annoyed they didn't include the sleeping animation, tbh, this would have been the perfect excuse for it.
