Do you even bother with Safari, Botanist, Argosy?

If I remember correctly, in MH4 the safari could bring you gems and other rare materials. I have yet to see that in World. The only use the safari seems to have is to get monster bones early on when you unlock new tiers.

The botanist of course is nice for whatever item you need, but since everyone nowadays already have a million of everything... It's also extremely annoying when you forget to fertilize and have to reapply everything one at a time over the course of 5 or 6 quests. I wish there was a "Fertilizer is about to drop" message when you come back to town.
Do you bother with fertilizers or just let it be and harvest once in a while?

As for the Argosy... I've always requested 3x Consumables. I already have millions of Zenny and monster parts, like the safari, seem to be rather useless. But even the consumables are meh. I liked to get ancient potions, but they drop like flies from the steamworks now. I guess it's nice just to build a stock of those items you never use, like throwing knives or whatever.

I also wish you could remove the "wow Xeno'jiva quest is here!" and "Check that event at the gathering hub!" messages. Like, the damn quest is ALWAYS here and I've been seeing that hub every day for the past month, I got it.

Stopped safari to have more Points to burn on decoration RNG. I still want my demon drugs and other goodies from argosy, and farm provides essential stuff.

Safari is useful to get investigations and nourishing extracts, Botanist is super useful too maintain a sizable supply of various items, and Argosy isn't all that great, but can be used to get things like screamer pods without having to go out of your way.

The Tailraider Safari is mainly for obtaining Sacs, Nourishing Extracts and Dash Extracts.

Then there's spider webs for your traps. Botanist lol. Immensely useful guy:)

I still do all 3, Safari gives me investigations and I always send them to Elders Recess to get the good ones (Brute, Gold, Silver and Ruiner), Argosy I have set to give me trade-in items because Guiding Lands don't give you money (FOR SOME UNGODLY REASON! (I'm not mad, idk what you talking about `.`)) so coupled with the eggs from steamworks its a steady, but somewhat small income source.

Now for botanist, since Elder Melder is a thing and now also steamworks, botanist has gotten alot less useful, and since you can also just buy alot of stuff from the shop it also loses alot of value there imo (takes less time to just buy 500 antidotes than farm out the mats at the botanist as an example).
What I have my botanist set to are things like thunderbugs, ivys, spider webs and dung pods. when I have a good supply of those (200+) I generally just see what I don't have alot of and just set it to farm that without using fertalizers.

Cries in blastnuts for sticky. I go through like atleast 30+ blastnuts per hunt so always running low on nuts

Safari is nice to get some materials you don't feel like farming for, but i don't use it much anymore because it floods me with crappy investigations.
Argosy = "free" consumables
Botanist , hell yeah, i don't need to farm materials anymore, as a guy who doesn't use the supply box and make my own loadouts depending on the mission and location and target , it's a godsend, especially now that with the Iceborne upgrades .

mostly because i can just meld steam tickets into mega demondrugs/armor skin
and also because i mostly stay in the gathering hub now

Yeah this is kinda what I do atm when I run ouit of stock. I got so many steam tickets and I cant even use them for anything else XD

Safari is still locked behind a loading screen. I'm just gonna ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stop doing it because of that. I woulda thought they would have changed it and added it to the gathering hub like the rest of the stuff.

But who in the hell doesnt use argosy/garden?
