MHW may one day melt your PC. lol 95C is REALLY high. I'm surprised your rig doesn't auto-shutdown to prevent damage at those temps.
Overclocked?
If neither, that's genuinely concerning. Since that suggests your cooling solution isn't up to the task. Or may be clogged with dust, or something.
Even in the damn Main menu at 5% cpu usage the cpu goes up to 57c -_- ! This is not normal. What's stressing the game to do this?

Dude. Calm yourself. 7c is NOTHING. CPUs are meant to handle things well into the 80s. When it gets over 90 THEN you should be worried. A 7 degree difference is no reason to lose your mind. My system sits around 54-58 playing MHW, which is completely normal. And it idles at 34. Now, if it went from 34 to 100, I would be shutting down my rig to clean it out and hope that was the issue. Could also mean the thermal paste is toast if it's going that high. But 57? Bro. Relax.
mines overridden so it dont throttle power till about 85c. 90 is when i get concerned enough to clean my PC out or open a window.
Still, it's nothing to be concerned about whatsoever. A temp that low wouldn't harm or degrade the lifespan on your CPU.
Personally I have games that raise my CPU temperatures higher than MHW when I play them. Total Warhammer 2 instantly comes to mind.
I tried undervolt of CPU and GPU, disabling turbo boost and I changed the thermal paste and still 95°C. I really envy the author of the topic. Anyway my laptop can handle 10-15 hours of intense 95°C gaming just fine.
This is a ♥♥♥♥ ton of CPU calculations in AI, pathing, tracking, etc.
57 is nothing, it's honestly LOW.
