I seen this lil golden cutie as I was fighting a monster and couldn't throw my capture net on it in time before it escaped the area.

I know it can be found in Hoarfrost Reach Areas 2, 6,13, 17 but I haven't seen once since.

It is a time specific animal, and whats the spawning like?

also do not catch him asap he has a bounty quest for it

I heard it gets a higher spawn chance in the event quest to deliver pearlsrping macaques. I got mine there. There's a new meal zoomaster that helps too.

Time: Either Dawn or Day when I saw it.

Weather: Clear

Pretty much needs to be day, and probably clear weather, and that's it. It's one of the simplest things to spawn, with multiple locations across the region. You can even find more than one at once between areas too.

Zoomaster + Biologist + Pearlsnatchers Quest is pretty much guaranteed to give you one, because it's perfect conditions for spawning basic Macaques and their spawn rate / density is through the roof in that particular quest. 50 minutes to run around looking for one, too.
