Good Luck/Great Luck/Capture Master Question, Unequip mid-fight?

Hey, was wondering if anyone has confirmation on this. I wanted to make a Buffing set with Good Luck, eat all appropriate items, then unequip it and use my actual armor set for combat.
Do I need to have the Good Luck armor skill active during the entire hunt in order for it to work? If not, can I do it at the start? Or the end? (When the timer starts)

Welp. I bit the bullet and did some tests. Hopefully this will help others.

YES. You can start a hunt with Good Luck/Great Luck/Capture Master, switch to other gear, and still receive the benefits of it. I have no idea if it will work if you swap to Good Luck mid-hunt, but starting and swapping out works.

My testing wasnt too rigorous, I just compared wearing a Good Luck set for the whole hunt through 5 hunts, and coming in with a Good Luck set and swapping out at camp immediately for another 5. The "Good Luck" proc'd at least once for both. (Average was 10-12 items on a normal reward, and 15-16 on a Good Luck Proc).
