Slowly but not too slowly. Normal increase
Would I get banned if I did that?
Hmm didn't think about that will disabling do the trick I dont wanna remove it lol
Pretty much this. Although I will say your laptops lifespan will shorten while sitting at 90c as your avarage temp. I would go to settings and limit max cpu usage say to 90%. That alone will drop temps quite alot. That 10% off from cpu won't affect performance but you will see a huge drop in temps.
I hate cheating in games. Against it so I think this may be a last resort cause I heard something about this being a huge problem and people actually reported a huge drop in cpu temps. I'm just getting alot of other people telling me.lff steam that the game was badly optimized/ported to pc.
if somehow it doesn't self throttle and the auto heat shutdowns don't kick in, there's a good chance that your system will just become unstable and crash before it becomes permanently damaged. (I've had this happen to me once when the pump in my old computer failed - it crashed a couple of times, I noticed the pump wasn't working and I simply replaced the pump and it worked fine for years after)
It's worth mentioning that running at high temperatures and more heat cycles will most likely reduce the lifespan of your parts, but it's the sort of deal where you might get 4 years out of it instead of 5, but you should probably be replacing it before then anyway.
TLDR; if it's stable, let it do it's own thing and it'll be fine.
Which settings would the be under.
I would advise using stackers loader (the thing that enables mods) even if you dont wanna mod the game, it kills the anticheat and lowers CPU usage by alot.
I have a Sager with the same parts, but my CPU never exceeds 65c while playing this game. You may want to lock it to 4.2 or 4.5GHz on all eight cores while playing this game, because it sounds like your factory cooling is barely up to the task. I am of course, assuming that you are running full fat 5Ghz with HT on. I did re-paste with Thermal Grizzly, but otherwise, it's in stock condition.
This crc info is totally wrong.
The mod maker responsible said that it doesn’t do anything anymore as the threads are gone. They modified
Deonova (spelling) and removed that.
A 9990k and 2080 in a laptop is gonna be smoking hot.
Those other games maybe use 20-30% of your cpu. MHW
Is very heavy on it even without the anitcheat problems. Some
Games just are.
Those two parts put out an insane amount of heat for any laoptop size cooling. I can almost 100% guarantee that laptop will only last a few years. The leadless solder on the BGA will start to crack from the extreme temp changes. And with those parts, there are plenty of extreme temps.
I would find a setting I like the game running at and then undervolt the cpu and cpu.
Chances are u could drop a good 10deg with a small hit
In speed.
