looking for a good spread lbg

basicly the title in a nutshell.
with more detail: hey i want to have a lbg that i can get upclose and personal with monsters, and hopefully have the wyvernblast mod so i keep up the offence.

anyone have any good candiates?

Blackveil or Garuga I think. Garuga probably needs evade mod so no mine mod. You can check out Phemeto on yt for better info on that.

Black actinula with two affinity augments. Although it is spread 2, it can do 34 per pellet with additional attack skills like agitator or peak performance. I could give you my favorite build for it

im looking in the upgrade tree and i could probably do black actinula with little grinding.
but im also looking at velkhana's final lbg, and the stats seem a little bit too good to be true.... anyone have the mod chart for it?

if it is Garuga I'd be kinda surprised, Seems more much more suited to Pierce, though it does have good raw and affinity so that could explain it.

While I'm hardly an expert on LBG I get the impression Velkhana's would probably feel the most fun, or at the very least would make for a unique offering, being what looks like the only Rapid-Fire Spread 2 LBG.

i should focus on unlocking garuga, i need to see this bowgun for myself. been playing too much event quests.

i unlocked garuga, and i am impressed with the ammo lineup. looks tasty, but still wondering about something, is the reload really THAT bad? will 2 mods not fix it to a acceptable degree?

so for LBG spread you have several options,Luna Ruin, Velkhana, Val Hazaak, Garuga and Beotodus (yeah Im not joking) it only depends if you want to play with spread 2 or 3 and if you want rapid fire. Ruin has the most DPS on paper (they are all really close, like 1-3 dmg per bullet) but gameplay is another thing.

honestly, im not going for pure DPS, i just want something i can easily handle upclose, and im not super pickey about the ammo type either, i just want spread because, usually since ill be upclose, it would be most effective. i just want i gun i could just go to battle with, something quick on the draw and maybe with the wyvern mod. i already got a few HBG that i like playing with, and i want to expand my arsenal.

Then really the main difference is if you want rapid fire or not. You really need to be close for rapid fire otherwise you lose shots. Other than that the weapon that looks coolest or is easiest to handle. I have the Velkhana and it hits like a truck if the monster is down, now im going towards the Garuga one to try it. Add me if you wanna hunt sometimes :)
