Why you skip out on Odogaron in this patch version? He was part of Rotten Vale and we got the other ones in it except the Elder dragon one too.

Time to wait for the next patch, guess I'll have to use Great Girros leather suit in the meantime.

Saying it's strictly LR is misleading, though. I'm sure I don't have to explain it to you, but they added the alpha/beta versions on armor sets where there was an actual visual difference between sets beyond coloration, which is to say it's not just LR.

Check the LR/HR layered armors, youre probably under the MR layered armor menu

Don't know if you need to kill/capture the High Rank versions of them or the Master Rank versions of them.

You dont, once you get the parts needed, they should show up in the smithy

Im master rank 49 and high rank 160+ and I cannot find this new bunch of layered armor. Do I need to hunt those monsters in the guiding lands to get it available or what? I dont have it under low/high rank or under master rank.

There's also 3 more that involve the ores and bones from the new volcanic zone in the guiding lands

On the same note how do you get the xenojiiva layered armor (when it will come to pc). Cuz you cant kill xeno in the guiding lands. Will we need the AT Xeno tickets to craft it?

All layered so far are not bad the Great Girros and High metal look alright. And maybe Bone if you are into how the gear looked

That will come later on as will most other layered armors.
