Elder Dragons in Iceborne are pure cancer to fight
I can deal with Barioth jumping around 24/7 or other bs but why the hell are Elder Dragons in Iceborne just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spammers with there 2 hitting attacks while running around like on ♥♥♥♥ing Drugs

Example:have to fight this cancer kirin in the quest where he has no Horns, tried GS,Gun lance, longsword etc and he just doesnt ♥♥♥♥ing die and im not looking forward to fight the other bs dragons

Edit:Killed it now with the brachydios sticky 2 ammo,it didnt kill me once

funny how you put words i never said in my mouth, its more of a sad joke that a braindead meta build is so strong against a monster
I don't really know, like, everyone with a half-working build that arent the braindead bgs seem to have no problem? My friend managed it with his hammer, for instance, and someone else out there probably accomplished the same with the purportedly 'worst weapon' Lance.

I would say the lunastra's hellfire spam is pure cancer
The other elders are good to play, but yes ofc there's some stupid spam move to deal with

This, and Kushala, but that's because Kushala is always cancer for melee players.

Also enough with the skrubs trying to swing the zinogre HBG epeen, it's the OP cheese of Iceborne everyone gets it.

I mean, is it really scrubby just because it's easy? I mean, if we were convinced with 'ew enough with the scrubs trying to swing the long ranged weaponry rifle epeen, it's the op cheese of the medieval century', we'd still be banging sticks and stones for music.

They are really not hard. You cant go in spamming attacks and not being aware of position. Also, you really need Health boost 2-3. If you go in with nothing, you better be perfect.

I managed to kill the hornless Kirin on my second try with DBs. Just had to be patient and keep the backside tenderized, which made it a lot easier.

The difference between IRL and a game should be obvious. Don't make IRL comparisons when talking about game mechanics, it just looks like straw man fallacy.

Yeah, uhm, when did it become widespread known? Oh right, during FIM in 2010.... lol

Lmao no dude. Anyone born before 2005 should have heard of it. Lol you guys think wasn’t known before you heard of it? Sounds like those kanye fans who don’t know the people he Collabs with are often more famous than him....

It’s been a well known franchise for its entire existence

(And I agree, a blight on humanity for 40 years)

But is it reeeeeeeeeally that bad? Some HBG 'scrub' joins your hunt, and expedites it with his 'super op Zinogre hbg', you get the materials, you rank up, you get the money, you get the research points, you finish the quest, 60 seconds, the cutscene plays, you go back to base, you get to craft your new armor and your new weapon (which, I might add is still inferior to the HBG, so convert now, thnx), and get to hunt again. So is it honestly really that bad that there is a weapon that is so overtuned that it doesn't need the skill that the master race longsword big katana anime slashes requires if it's helping YOU?

Its a bit off topic from what OP started but i dont think HBG is bad but unfair.
HBG can easily do 30k+ damage with aim and shoot while hiding behind shield mod, make it low risk and super high rewards weapons.
While other weapons require you to actually play the game, doing 25k ~ 30k on melee weapons is quite plenty and better than average on random SoS.

These example are all from SoS with 4 ppl where monsters stats got multiple up.

VS Ruined Nergigantes : 10 mins
33978 damage / HBG Pierce 3
https://i.imgur.com/xLOTPXW.jpg

VS Tempered Hazak : 13 mins
33041 damage / HBG Pierce 3
https://i.imgur.com/xZX53vO.jpg

VS Shara : 10 mins (he is super weak to Pierce so aside from Range weapons, melee will never came close to 40k damage, unless you solo it)
47235 damage / HBG Pierce 3
https://i.imgur.com/Kv0LvGN.jpg

Zinogre HBG spread 3 on a right hand can effortlessly do 5000+ more damage than Pierce 3(minus Lavasioth and Shara)
I only have 200 usage of HBG for entire my playtimes, so im just a beginner at this weapon but even you play like a Palico but on HBG you can performs better than average.

So, i will let you decide if its bad or not bad for a single weapon to heavily overtuned every other weapons by miles and require almost to none skills from players.

Again, if it's helping you, does it really hurt you? This isn't a competitive game. Sure, it's no skill, other than knowing when you can reload or shoot, and does a lotta damage if you shoot the parts that are weakened and/or are weak parts, and is long ranged, if you call getting up to its face long range, and only requires you to fight the Zinogre (which is in and of itself a very easy monster), without the aforementioned gun, a couple of times depending on the RNG, but if it's speeding up YOUR run, does it really hurt you?

Nope, it doesnt, thats actually helping.
While someone might argue, you gotta play/learn the monster and not getting cheese out damage.
But no, doesnt really hurt the hunt, the faster the lower chance of carting.

PS. Getting to it face with Huge Shield is still super safe, i didnt call Spread 3 long range but state that its a range weapon and its the only overtuned weapon in all category.

Exactly, so I don't know why people are complaining about the HBG so much. Everyone's on the same team here, and I don't get why people get so mad about someone out-performing them.
