Elder Dragons in Iceborne are pure cancer to fight

I can deal with Barioth jumping around 24/7 or other bs but why the hell are Elder Dragons in Iceborne just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spammers with there 2 hitting attacks while running around like on ♥♥♥♥ing Drugs

Example:have to fight this cancer kirin in the quest where he has no Horns, tried GS,Gun lance,longsword etc and he just doesnt ♥♥♥♥ing die and im not looking forward to fight the other bs dragons

Sticky 3 lbg makes short work with kirin. You literally just have to smash your head at the keyboard with it. It's that easy.

What? I always thought Yian Garuga and Barioth are way harder to deal than any elder dragons, or maybe it depends your playstyle and weapons you use..
I hate Kirin as well and i agree with you on that one..

Did you upgrade your weapons?
I noticed 8/10 times people cry about monsters being to hard to kill its people stubornly refusing to let go old the endgame weapons from the base game.

Also kirin is definatly the most anoyng elder in the game arguably only Kusala Daora is harder or more Anoyng.
Ruiner Nergigante Valhazak(if you bring efluva resitance) Teostra and naminele are much more menagable.
Only lunastra is still hard but only if you do not bring proper gear.

Kirin in that quest has less HP but stronger lightning and permarage, you just gotta find openings without resorting to crutch claw.

Yes as this guy stated the Hornless kirin is harder than the regular one as its also enraged 24/7 so you cant use wall slam.

In that particular fight the Kirin is permanently enraged, though possibly(though I have my doubts) somewhat depowered due to the pre-broken horn.

But Kirin is also kind of an oddball within the game, being extremely small, and the only monster capable of/focused around simply summoning damage sources.

But, You've fought elders before. Blackveil, Namielle, Ruiner (though a bit of a demo), and Shara for certain. you've maybe fought some of the old cast as well though that would be of your own volition.

i fought namielle once and then never again,dont like the look of her armor and weapons,shara is just annoying and not worth my time, same with blackveil hazak, still need to do the optional quests for teostra,lunastra,nergi,hazak and kirin

Most elders are pretty easy in this game, especially non-tempered. Tempered Savage Jho is leagues above them.

I had no issues with the Loyal Thunder HBG. Impact Mantle + Spread 3 had that Kirin eating snow more than jumping around

The worst for me has been kushala when it decides tk just fly around and shoot tornadoes everywhere, its like can you just calm down buddy, I want to pat you on the head with this gigantic hammer.

meta is the highest dmg possibl build this is a evade window 5 buil, with no artillery 5 but evasion mantel so boost dmg output. All the meta HBG spread 3 hunters play with a shield ;)
