Silver Rathalos not spawning in Guiding Lands

Is there a third criteria I'm missing?
It doesn't appear in the Lure-list, I'm assuming that's because I haven't seen it yet.

look your hunter`s notes for the star numbers of it appearing

Silver Rath has a 2 star frequency in lvl 6, so just go on an expedition somewhere and move from area to area checking for a ??? in GL each time.

Just keep grinding. I eventually got one around your rank. Keep killing/capping monsters till it shows up. You gotta grind to that MR100 anyway.

If you don't want to grind kills / captures in GL then just do ANY side quest or expedition. When you return from it the GL monster list will be reset to new random ones.
Easy to check between runs by pressing M then N. If no ??? in the GL list then blitz another 30 second junk quest.

This. You could also join someone with lvl 6+ GL and get silverlos from them that way.

Is Guiding Lands the best way to farm mats from Silver Rathalos or Scarred Yian?
I've got like 20 fell wings and 15 beaks, but only 1 scarred shell and after 2 encounters in Guiding Lands I can't craft a single piece of Silver Rathalos set
