Can anyone confirm to me the event is coming to pc together with rajang? I need that freaking armor for my hammer build :<

If you mean the buff body, then not coming next week or the week after. Only basic rajang armor/gear. The earliest would be the 20th based on the event schedule.

I have suspicion that they actually do it like that just to make sure everything goes in properly.
Think of it, compiling can take ages just like rendering if something is slightly different. If they added every part of an update right away without checking how it might affect the rest of the game, we'd just get a buggy mess.

Not saying I like the delay, but their pacing to make sure nothing goes south makes sense for how much content is in the game currently.
I think they got by with adding the guild palace stuff because it had no effect on the rest of the game.

As for the files already being there... well. They forgot to lookup their solution on StackOverflow.

Well, if they released everything at once, no one would play after a month because everything would be there, pacing out the content helps the game last longer
