Best way to farm Critical Jewel Level 2?

Been seeing most set require three Critical Jewel Level 2 so I'm been farming Foral event quest but no luck for a hour so I tried The Great Jargas by using fastest method, yet not a single Critical Jewel Level 2. Am I missing something or it just PURE RNG? Or there is other better method to farm specific level 2 jewels?

if you have access to guiding lands and don't mind doing hours of mining, you can get all lvl 1-3 jewels "capped" with the tickets you get from steamworks.

but if your looking specifically for that jewel doing the Lavasioth event quest is a good way to try and get that rarity tier among other jewels.

Yep, I mainly focused on the Coral Highlands and Rotting Vale zones since they're much smaller than the other two. Throw on a lance and do a circuit of those two zones for an hour or two. End up with a ton of fuel. Didn't even take that long to have every lvl 1-3 deco I'd ever need. Make sure to have geologist skill for extra hit on nodes.

Steamworks can give silver and steel tickets. No effort to do plus you get a a lot to trade at the melder

Thank you guys for helping me out. I did tried to farm the VIP ticket by doing Foral Event but it seems to be nerfed due to vip tickets not giving much points to meld into Silver ticket which was suppose to give you 3 not one which is now it gives. I tried farming Great Jagras which is not hard but the chances are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up lol. Gonna try guilding lands farming method for steamworks. I just want to do the most potential highest dmg on any of the weapons but I can't if I don't have 3 Critical Jewel level 2 lol.

Do the event "The name's lavasioth!" You have to fight a tempered HR lavasioth, but don't kill it immediately. Just pick up the gems it spits out in the lava balls, or the lava that falls off it when it jumps over you. I got about 31 in 11 minutes earlier, with multiples being rarity 8.

I tried that, still none. I keep getting flight level 2 gem but I keep "Jebaited" since it has similar look to critical jewel level 2...Guess my only option is doing temper elder dragons. Other farming methods was probably nerfed hard and has too low rng. I going to try steamworks method now to see if I can finally get one at least.

I feel you fam. I'm on the same boat; Almost 400 hours in to the game and no Guard Up deco. :/

I heard that getting the rarest gems are little better from doing MR Tempered Elder Dragons. I hope that is true but I haven't unlock them. I just hit MR 100 and killed Ruiner Nerginate so hopefully temp elder dragon tracks starts to appear or im wrong?

No no no. Only for lvl 4 decos.
If you want the rare lvl 2 decos, HR it is. Or Steamworks. Or maybe T1 MR tempered didn't try them that much.

yeah T1 tempereds jewel drop is the G rank tier but they can drop non lvl 4 decos. but i tend to get crap out of em but it could be a lot more random. im sure there is a table on the web somewhere showing what drops where.
