Trying to complete all optional quests but special arenas are not showing up

So I’m trying to get access to the white winds of the new world quest to farm research commission tickets. I have completed all optional quests which display the red completed except the 7 star which displays blue. The only quests I have left to do are the special arenas for the certain monsters, but they aren’t showing up even after I capture them.

Arena will show up until you complete it for the first time, after that it's random when it will show up. If you caught a monster and didn't get an unfinished arena quest, that means you've already done it.

The thing is I haven’t completed them since the completed is still blue. I have checked the wiki for optional quests and they are the only ones I haven't done.

You have to cap a arena to show up.

However, if you dind the sos arena, they count towards progression as a first completion if you didnt do it yet.

Certain monsters do not have arena;'s.

I can barely read what the other posters are saying in here.

For a Special Arena to show up, you have to capture the respective monster. Double-check your Large Monster Field Guide and make sure you've captured the monster (just to be safe, make sure there isn't a zero in the Capture field for any monster). The Special Arena will then stay up until you complete it, after which it will disappear and pop back up randomly.

I had a friend who was having this problem, too, though. If you've already double-checked everything, just do something else and come back. It might just show up.

it isn't random for the first time.
it stays until you finished it and than it becomes random

You can repeat them almost every time you capture that particular monster. Beat special arena and capture monster. Repeat, profit.

If the complete is in blue, then you haven’t unlock the arena quest yet. You need to capture the monster to unlock arena.

some optional quests also just appear at a certain rank (up to mr 200)

The one that you are missing is probably jho, though I’m not sure because jho was added as an update. Also, make sure that you’ve talked to everyone with an exclamation mark, including those in third fleet base and those out in the field.

One of the HR 7 missions require the special assignment food chain domnator. This involves obtaining ??? tracks.

I forgot if you had to slay or capture it after.

You are probably missing the Quest Left Quite the Impression

Edit: My Bad, Left Quite the Impression is a 6 Star quest ^^'

Also, i got the completion after doing the Deviljho optional quest. For those that are wondering, you need to find him on an investigation and search for tracks. Once you filled the bar you can go back to Astera and a blue Quest will be on the map. Doing the special assignment gives you the optional Deviljho quest^^

the correct answer to the OP is that he has to capture the monsters in the same rank for the arena quest to show up. he will never read that though.
