How do you beat the Beotodus?

I was fighting it for 45 minutes before I had to forcefully shut the game down to go to work. It just wouldn't die and i think I cut off every part it had. Am I retarded or just missing something here?

Anyway, recall from the day Iceborne came out. I did it with my HR Drachen gear with Kjarr Sword "Fire". You don't have to go down this path, especially the Kulve Taroth weapons are basically dead in Iceborne (they CAN NOT BE upgraded).

Go into expedition, and just gather as many Ore as you can. Forge yourself an Iron Long sword say "Iron Eschaton". I'm MR 99 and I still uses the upgraded version - Iron Eschaton III at this point. (because of the Rare 11 Health Augment).

(A lot of Beotodus's attack can be easily read, which is great for Foresight Slash and charging your meter. So you can then dunk him like mad with Spirit Helmbreaker).

It will take a bit of time to get used to, but it is very useful especially THE SPECIAL SHEATH can be used to re-adjust your direction after Spirit Roundhouse, then immediately into Iai Slash, makes your attack none stop.

Then the Iai Spirit Slash is just too awesome.
