Does anyone else really dislike the new rathian/rathalos?

So you have female gold rathian and male silver rathalos. That's fine. All of the items associated with gold rathian have a moon theme though, and that is not fine. Gold is very obviously the color of the sun, not the moon. The moon is feminine though, so they got it's at least half right. What's most egregious though is that silver rathalos's items don't have a sun theme. You even have cases like the Rathalos Gleamsword vs Wyvern Blade Pale. Is it pale or is it shiny? Make up your minds guys.

This is all very low hanging fruit and it infinitely upsets me that they didn't get this right.

New ? they exist since ages in the series. But did you look at some weapon designs in MHW since release they downgraded alot to make it more "Western" Friendly which hurt alot of designs and themed Looks. even now with Iceborne where it got a little better they still make the same mistake sadly.

The metal rathlings are both part of monster hunter since the G Rank expansion
of the first MonHun 2005 iirc so both arent "new"

I love goldian and silvlos, both are fun to fight against despite i like the Black Rathian version from Monster Hunter Frontier a bit more.
