make the stongest raw damage weapon you can and there should be no problem.
Adapt and overcome. It feels great when you finally make it, that tiny little rush of endorphins when you topple a wall is better than, I dunno, childbirth when the sprog is yours, or something
Destroying his limbs causes him to give much larger attack openings. As such the opening of the fight should be spent setting up these breaks. Smash him into walls, use traps, take his body apart at the start. His parts have extremely low durability values. You can also bait him into charging bombs for damage.
Once his limbs are broken, the fight shifts to you laying on the DPS. Adopt a dodge and counter mindset, as he will open himself up after each attack, provided you don't get hit. Keep a wall to your back so when he lunges at you, he can't side away. Positioning is key here.
Once he gets low, trap and capture and it's over and done with.
no offense but sometimes we do want to learn a monster moveset, barioth in this case, so that when AT barioth comes out we dont ruin other people runs
OP doesn't seem to want to do that though. That being said, I do think multiplayer is great for learning. When I can't do a hunt, I tend to SOS and play more passive, see what it's doing while not focussed just on me or my cat.
I do understand solo players that are dedicated to improve and like the challenge. But not this OP.. he is more like my 3 year old son, who is all like "I can do this allone!" and refuses any help. Then starts crying, when he can't do it. lol
That being said, HBG and lance make barioth fight trivial.
