bow for early iceborne?

im doing really awfully. like 40 minutes to kill a mastermode monster. what early bow should i get?

i dont think there any early bow worth using. Bow build require a lot of end game Jewel or otherwise its just feel weird to play. ( Bow only work with element so u need to farm alot , also need like 4 element for everysingle monster xD )

that sounds weird. ive heard things from thunder being amazing to elements dont matter. whats more important, base damage or elements? how does base damage compare to element damage? whats better, affinity or high damage?

Go for blast. With the master rank buffs, it's surprisingly good. And works on almost everything.

no quite sure, but i do know that Bow element > Raw damage.
- You need Silver rathalos skill set to get '' True element crit ''
My current element bow set : Fire-740 , ice-720, water-660, thunder-600, dragon 680 / other one 820.
- When use Spread shot with final charge + wound head monster damage hit up to 70-80 per hit.
- But u can stick to Blast Bow, that what im using when iceborne release. Take awhile to kill monster but it kinda worth it

Example for one of my Element bow build.
- Crit eye 7
- Fire att 6
- Constituion 4
- Weakness exploit 3
- Bow charge plus 1
- Mind eye/ballistic
I didnt fix my bow set yet ( need Normal shot, spread shot ) but this currently deal 70-80 per hit is enough.

Once you defeat Velkhana and Nemielle, you can get 2 pieces of each and get Crit element and Elemental Acceleration. Should be good for elemental bows. This is just theory though not tried it myself.
