1. The rumble on the pc (with ps4 controller) is more subtle than the ps4 version.
2. The rumble feature won't turn on if you do not tick the "Playstation Configuration Support" on your controller settings (in steam big picture mode)
3. The buttons layout will still shows an Xbox1 prompt even when the PS4 Controller plugged in (can be solved by using a mod)
ds4 worked perfectly
just keep in mind that the in game button prompt will still be those of the xbox controller
You’re not the first I’ve heard who switched to the switch controller, might I ask why? Is it a comfort thing or does the switch pro work better?
I’ve noticed some input lag on occasion with the PS4 controller, highly noticeable when using a CB cause I’m suddenly unable to block lol
*Edit= I also just realized how old this thread is, not sure why it was brought back fro mthe dead. But guess the button icon thing is new info for some people, so I'll leave the post.
In case anyones interested:
Played over 300+hrs on PC with PS4 controller through steam, used a ds4 mod to change the UI to ps4 buttons and had no problems playing the base game ^^
Not sure how Iceborne affects this, some people have said the controller doesnt work properly but I havent been able to play it yet due to Uni work
Secondly I also had cancer 6 months after MHW was released and one of the chemotherapies I had was really nasty so I experience a lot of wrist pain with kayboard and mouse now a days... PS4 controller is comfortable and takes the downwards pressure off my wirsts.
