Does the PS4 controller fully work with MHW PC?
I've got MHW for the PS4 and absolutely love the game but since Im mainly a PC gamer, I'd like to get it for PC.
Does the Partial controller support on the store page mean partial for all controllers including the PS4 or is it just the steam controller?

It does work but there are 3 things to note:
1. The rumble on the pc (with ps4 controller) is more subtle than the ps4 version.

2. The rumble feature won't turn on if you do not tick the "Playstation Configuration Support" on your controller settings (in steam big picture mode)

3. The buttons layout will still shows an Xbox1 prompt even when the PS4 Controller plugged in (can be solved by using a mod)

You’re not the first I’ve heard who switched to the switch controller, might I ask why? Is it a comfort thing or does the switch pro work better?

I’ve noticed some input lag on occasion with the PS4 controller, highly noticeable when using a CB cause I’m suddenly unable to block lol

If you go to "Gamepad Button Icon Settings" in Options>Interface, "Type 2" is PS4 button icons. No need to mod them in anymore.

*Edit= I also just realized how old this thread is, not sure why it was brought back fro mthe dead. But guess the button icon thing is new info for some people, so I'll leave the post.

I forgot to mark the first reply as the answer xD

In case anyones interested:
Played over 300+hrs on PC with PS4 controller through steam, used a ds4 mod to change the UI to ps4 buttons and had no problems playing the base game ^^

Not sure how Iceborne affects this, some people have said the controller doesnt work properly but I havent been able to play it yet due to Uni work

Preordered it on PS4 and played it for about 250 hours first so for a lot of the weapons was already skilled and had the muscle memory.

Secondly I also had cancer 6 months after MHW was released and one of the chemotherapies I had was really nasty so I experience a lot of wrist pain with kayboard and mouse now a days... PS4 controller is comfortable and takes the downwards pressure off my wirsts.
