Gain behemoth enmity.
How does it works? Is it the number of "hits" that goes to the head? Or amount of damage done to the head?

Thanks.

Hit count, and I think weapons able to guard gain enmity faster.

lance leaping thrust attack can be spammed for aggro, it hit arond 5 times i think?
just back step, guard dash, and leaping thrust, 2 times should do it

easier said than done tho, using hbg spread by far is the most easy aggro, just aim and shoot

I've found that landing one or two Zero Sum Charges with Switch Axe almost guarantees Enmity
I'm almost positive it's both because it takes longer to get enmity when I'm landing spread shots while out of critical range.

sometimes he drops slinger dragon ammo use it to gain quickly enmity
I saw a bunch of HBG users doing that although most of them didn't really take the hits all that well and had to be healed a lot more than a lance tank would... is this normal or these guys just trying to tank behe witout guard skill?

They're probably just have terrible builds or are bad at HBG.

i could heal HBG tanks with a proper build just with blue mushrooms, except the last area where he does that reslly strong ground punch, that will hurt a lot regardless and probaly oneshot even with 200 healt if fail to guard

Been using this build for HBG tanking and it seems to take hits/gain enmity really well. You can hit the head even when you can't see it with P3 ammo:

I would go with something like this:

http://honeyhunterworld.com/mhwb/?628,103,107,107,103,103,23,aff,slot,0,68,0,0,54,54,69,84,0,0,26,77,0,90,54,96,90,90,0,3,Recoil,Close,Shield

Apologies, almost forgot NEB!
