He is NOT supposed to be a walk in the park.
I've nothing against people who hack in MHW but instead of waiting for someone to do it for you, do it yourself perhaps.
What's hard is getting a decent team setup (due to a lack of decent players).
A tank, healer, and two DPS. I have never gotten that. Even when I did beat him, there was only a tank, a healer, and one DPS, the fourth guy got carried. Now, you don't really even need a tank, with a different team setup (3x cluster/heal, 4x cluster, etc). Now, maybe he's hard to solo...if that's what you meant...But, that comes down to the gimmicky nature - where he has multiplayer HP even solo, the 30 minute time limit, the DPS checks, etc.
What makes him the most difficult in solo is the time limit compared to his health pool :(
There is a reason "randoms" have an infamous reputation of being bad.
Solo however I agree with you. It sounds like a colossal nightmare. Good thing I hate to solo.
You just gotta be patient and hope that you'll match up with proper players. I've been trying to beat extrememoth myself for the past 2 or 3 days and no luck so far because people relied on comet cover too much. From what I see, the main reason why people couldnt beat him is because they dont know how to properly time their jump.
I tried to help randoms in lobbies and I got: melee players that are unable to do enough damage in phase 3 even if I keep him permanently locked on me as a tank, lance "tanks" that can't get the aggro for the life of them, other melee players that just run around and do no damage and healers that get one shot while trying to attack the Behemoth.
The truth is that people want to beat him, but they also don't want to give up on their "fun" playing their favorite melee weapons. So f*ck them, I'm just gonna help people who actually are determined to get it from now on.
