Why do Bow Users use Rath Soul Coil B?

It only gives Level 3 Deco slot and Level 2 Wind proof? Why does the majority of bow users use this?

Used less now because Azure Starlord is out but it's to get critical element from Rathalos mastery 2. Other armor pieces tend to give better skills and have better slots so they choose to sacrifice coil.

Apparently Steam was giving me an error so I spam clicked Submit and boom, guess 3 times. I deleted the others.

Coil slot is kind of a crap shoot for bow users, so it's a good dumping ground to get that mastery.

There are better coils, but there is WAY better helms, mails, vambraces, and legs than the rathalos sets

Coil is probably third choice. Most sets run Rath Soul beta head + Rathalos mail B chest. The only times I run Coil is on my frost set because Kushala helm for frost damage is really slot efficient.

Azure starlord doesn't fit into any meta bow sets as far as I'm aware. Might be better for dual blade perhaps.

I did that too. Also threw on rathalos coil for fighting teo/Luna to get fire resist up.

The Azure star lord helmet and boots are used for some meta sets either for the tier 3 slot or agitator/crit boost.
