Impossible to bounce and always full, non mitigated damage, regardless of part targetted.
that mean make sure you sharp your boomstick in time =)
A Sharpness Jewel is your best friend with a GL
Wyvern's Fire and charged shots deal additional stagger damage.
Really? Im pretty sure GL shells did a bit of fire damage since their release in 2nd gen. I didnt even play 4th gen games so I have no idea how GLs work with their heat gauge.
Also GL shells tend to keep Lavasioth's armor from cooling so Im inclined to believe that they still do fire damage.
Shelling does deal fire damage in World.
But yeah it doesn't have any special effect that makes it knock down monsters, it just hurts them so much that they fall over lol
Highest Fire weakness i found was Lavasioth's magma armor but his head breaks too fast to actually test it, so I used Kirin Head with 25 fire.
Single uncharged shell on 0 fire HZ : 62 damage
Single uncharged shell on 25 fire HZ: 65 damage
Wyvernfire on 0 fire HZ : 134*3
Wyvernfire on 25 fire HZ: 141*3
Didn't do Wyrmstake since it's not pure shelling.
I never noticed and I also never saw the proper MVs listed, thanks for clearing that up.
