Pocahawtness has Monster Hunter: World

Unknown Monster

So I played MHW for a bit then left, now I am back. I have an unknown monster! It appears in the guide after Vaal Hazak and before Xeno'jiiva and then Behemoth. No name is given just "researching". No information, no quest, no nothing. Is this just something I missed or is there some quest or what?

Lunastra sounds right. The reason I say that is that the icon for it is blue! Is there some way to trigger it? Or is it a random quest? What?

Pretty sure there's a quest chain to unlock her. Look for any npcs in town with something new for you to do.

If you've collected at least one unknown footprints,go back to astera>open your map and locate the blue ! around astera (first floor).
