...the MIDGAME is after you finish the story.
I heard the grind was real but damn.
also the fun is not in the grind itself, the fun is in perfecting the fights against the monsters, once you know a monster good enough to where you can tell what happens next, it feels like dancing, you dodge perfectly and you get better and stronger each time :P
So basically I have to beat the story on my own then I can play multiplayer and grind stuff.
I really do hope its more appealing than it sounds.
It is. Half of the fun is discovering yourself about how crazy you can go hunting solo.
The other half is doing those crazy things with your friend, but you can't do this before doing the first half.
By then, you will have access to normal version of all the monsters.
So, you should be preparing to fight the tempered versions from HR30 onwards where the difficulty becomes less casual.
Endgame is at about HR50 to 100 when you get access to all the quests. The last 1 is at 100.
