It can take some time. Most people you see who are really high HR have spammed HR boosting events a ton. I;m 230 hours and HR 101

Do tempered monster investigations or events with HR boost if there's any
Some assigments may level you up instantly when completed

Lvl 100 is little more than a distraction quest. I was grinding for odogaron gems by then and happened to hit 100.

Now I m 350 and get a level every four to five tempered quest

Just enjoy the hunt and you'll be there before you know it. Better to focus on improving yourself when hunting, and make it enjoyable as possible. Try out new weapons and stuff, set goals for every TED and AT, many things are more important than HR ! Sharpening your skills, intuition, and decision making as a hunter is better than "grind" HR.

I'm at 350 hours on my first character, HR 250 and I still sucks. I enjoy the journey to be suck less though, and that's the beauty of playing MHW.

Right now , there is the event quest called “Snow and Cherry Blossom” which give u massive HR when u complete it ! Go and grind !!!
i dont want to be rude or anything but ur HR means nothing.. the only thing that matters is how u mastered ur fav weapon thru ur grind

Only up to HR 100 wich is pretty much the last assigment you will get after than yeah its irrelevant,i've avoided events with HR boost and focused mostly in Tempered farming for decorations, materials, min maxing my sets and of course become a better hunter with experience :P

Once you hit HR 100, dont worry about it… You'll eventually go up fast or slow but doesnt matters…

You can do the coming event

"No Tomorrow for Usurpers
This is your chance to seriously increase your hunter rank! All you have to do is take on a highly dangerous tempered monster!

Quest Details

Available
01/03 16:00

01/10 15:59"

This quest will drop tons of HR EXP.

Happy hunting. :mhwgood:

It speeds up dramatically when you hit HR49.

Tempered Elder Dragon Farming.

But even before then between HR29 and 49 you should be farming T2 Tempered investigations. These will skyrocket your HR gain as well.

Honestly I wouldnt bother with the HR boosting quests since they drop little else you need. Only use them if you need HR for someting very specific thats ona lmited timer.

Seeing as your HR60 nothing is locked out for you now anyways. You shoul have all the armor pieces you need by now. Only Decorations may be an issue but thats what TED's are for.
Your HR should be about half of your playtime. If not you're spending too much time farming low level quests (or you failed a whole lot of quests).

This. Also it's not like HR means much after you've reached HR 100.
