bow/slinger question

I have my bow set to manual sheathe setting and have remapped a few keys.. My question is this.. Even though it says nothing about slinger, why does sheathing my bow pull out my slinger? i just want to swap from bow to running and back again without the extra step of finding the 'put my dang slinger away' button. Any tips?

Reset your bindings. You may have double bound something.

Slinger is out when your retical is out. So just click off the retical when you sheath

Dang, I figured that out just this last mission @Venusgate and was hoping i could change the default. I like using the retical but hardly use slinger when using bow.

I guess using a controller makes this much simpler? I played this on PS4 when it came out but mained greatsword/hammer. Was hoping to get some aiming practice with mouse/keyboard but it seems kinda clunky to have to sheathe and turn off retical everytime i wanna run/chase a mob/maneuver

Frankly, I had to think about your issue a little, as it's muscle memory for me now on kbm. I also have retical set to a side button on the mouse, which saves the risk of missing c or v on keyboard

@venus, what button do you use to sheathe your slinger? just the default? I set it to z or x (i cant recall atm, not in game)

I have a 10 button mouse, so I use one of those :p
