The game has a plot ending, but it won't end.You can play for a long time. I've been doing it for 300 hours.

Easily over 100 hours to experience all the content the game currently has to offer. I have like 150 hours and still not completed all the hunts. Part of the reason for that is because they keep adding more to bring me back so, yea. Lots of replayability.

The main story end at Hunter Rank(HR) 15 took around 40-50 hrs (mayb less than 10 if rush with veteran help)
after main story is Tempered monster(same monster with more HP and hit harder) , Arch Temper monster(even harder HR50+ require), Event monster hunt which is pretty much harder than main story and lot of Gear, Item and Decoration farming

If you interest in Gear, Decoration farm, Hunt the same monster but harder this game easily took you 200+ hours

Monster Hunter World's main story is about 20-30 hours worth of content if youre new to the series; then theres a lot of optional side quests, side things, the achievements can take days depending on luck, then theres Event Quests that rotate in, and after-story elements, like tempered monsters and the Free Content updates; I've recentlyish hit 300+ hours, and its still fun

The story is just for fluff. MH's end game has always been more hunt after main story and just carries on till you are bored of it and Capcom stop updating it.
The last known Arch tempered monster we will be getting soon is Kulve taroth and nergigante, they will probably move on to using G-rank instead of AT with the upcoming iceborne expansion.

I played it for only 300 hours and I think I am still a noob cause I can't get that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attack jewel and bomber for my charge axe.

This game has easily the least end game content out of a Monster Hunter game, I finished the story in 50 hours on PS4 and only got to about 200 hours after all of the free updates and even then I was already not playing the game regularly. If you want hundreds and hundreds of hours of post game content I would recommend 4 Ultimate on 3DS or Generations Ultimate on Switch.

Endgame is just RNG grind based so you can min-max your builds and hunt the same monsters over and over with a slighty better build faster than before.
However the gameplay is enjoyable enough and you can try and craft every weapon or armor set in the game for collecting purposes cause the other end-game option is just an RNG fiesta.

You could always wait like 9 months more and then buy the game with the expansion cause by then it will have plenty more content and it will hopefully have a better end-game.

If you're brand new to the series, expect many hundreds of hours.

There's no real endgame though.

Besides one monster perhaps, that will put your skills on test.
